Norman was leading after the second day and mentioned in an interview: “I grew up in Queensland, Australia. I grew up on the Great Barrier Reef. I’ve dived with sharks. And that was what I just did as a kid.” The next day the newspaper “Atlanta Journal-Constitution” published ‘The Great White Shark’ in one of their headlines.

Apart from the headlines, one may find a lot of similarities between a shark and Norman. The aggressive golf style, the swagger, stone heart, and more importantly the blonde hair. The CEO of LIV Golf has earned his nickname rightfully and remained true to the name to this date.

After his successful golf career, Norman is considered to be one of the most successful business tycoons in the sport, with his most recent and notable endeavor being LIV Golf. With the lucrative Tour still in its initial stages, only time will tell how prosperous the Tour will eventually be.
