Back in the year 2020, in one of the podcast episodes, she expressed her opinions about the golfing industry. However, not going well with the listeners, the opinions opened doors for a major backlash from the golfing world. This forced Spiranac to take to her social media handle and present her stand on the matter.

Making sure to address every point of criticism, Spiranac cleared it out to her 661K Twitter followers that she wasn’t playing the victim card. “I also want to make it clear I’m not saying poor me or playing the victim. I know I’m going to get hate for what I wear and speaking out. I’m just facing it head on now instead of worrying about being accepted. I will never change myself so I can fit in,” one of her Tweets read.
