The American professional is a keen distance getter, as with his tee shot, he aims to cover more than 300 yards. Even his driving average is over 306 yards, ranking him 62nd on the PGA Tour. To make the distance coverage easier, he keeps the Ping G44o Max Driver with 9 degrees loft and the Mitsubishi Diamana PD 60TX shaft. The $599 long yet lightweight driver is ideal for increasing forgiveness. Despite the swing speed, the 46” head with a Carbonfly crown improves the efficiency.

Additionally, he has a similar model, G440 Fairway 4-Wood, the low nozzle, long head as an alternative for the driver. With a high launch and forgiveness to offer, it justifies the price of $349. Then, William Mouw has three irons from Ping. He carries, i Crossover#3 with 20-39.75, Anser Iron (4-5) and Blueprint S Iron, 6. These irons are known for their forgiveness and versatility. The unique design makes ball launch easier, irrespective of the position. The set costing $1400 approximately is a great addition to the bag for dealing with tough situations and setting the ball for the shots near greens.

William Mouw’s final preference for the course

To reach close to the cup, the golfer carries Ping s159 Wedges, 50-S, 54-S and Glide 2.0, 60-SS. With the sharp grooves and enhanced sole grinds, the wedges are the ideal option to reach the final putt. It offers improved spin and trajectory planning with precise distance coverage. The approx $200 wedge is great for bunker, rough, or even fairway revival.
