The TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut, is set to host the 2023 Travelers Championship on June 22. Following the US Open 2023, many top-notch players are giving their all for the upcoming tournament. The Arnold Palmer Invitational Winner is trying his luck to succeed in the upcoming Travelers Championship. To mark his way for the win, the 30-year-old American golfer has been nailing the 4-footers in the grass.

It seems like Kitayama is trying his hands out on some new skills for the tournament. In a recent Instagram post shared by TaylorMade Golf, the current World No 23 is seen honing his skills on the golf course.

Soon after the post went viral, and fans and golf enthusiasts started bombarding the comments section with their remarks. 

One user humorously commented, “Wish I was good enough to make it worthwhile practicing 4 footers😂”

The other added, If you take it back that far more can happen. I like to keep it short and sweet.”

“Been putting for 3 years with this exact putter and don’t have that wear spot. These guys are really like that” said the next.

US Open fuels the excitement for the upcoming Travelers Championship

With the excitement of the US Open still fresh in the fans’ minds. And Wyndham Clark’s spectacular victory remaining the talk of the town, the Travelers Championship is all set to carry on that excitement. This year, it’s going to take place on a 70 Par course that spans 6,852 yards. The prize money for the tournament is a whopping amount of $20 million, which is more than double of the last year’s $8.3 million pool. Among those competing in the game will be Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Scottie Scheffler.
