McIlroy went on to say that presently there was not a lot that could happen, and there was a possibility that a judge could make the decision, but for now, the matter was at a halt. He also went on to say, “There’s a few things that I would like to see on the LIV side that need to happen. I think Greg needs to go. I think he just needs to exit stage left.”

Rory McIlroy went on to say that Norman was a child and that the discussions would be futile with him in charge of LIV Golf. He said, “No one is going to talk unless there’s an adult in the room that can actually try to mend fences.” He also went on to add that nothing can proceed until Norman is out of the picture. “Right now, it’s a stalemate because there can’t be any other way.”

In the post-match interview, Rory made it a point to point out that he had won more than Greg. He said“Twenty-one PGA Tour wins, one more than somebody else.” He also went on to say, “The guy that’s spearheading that tour has 20 wins on the PGA Tour and I was tied with him and I wanted to get one ahead of him.” It is clear Rory will take whatever chance he has of calling out Greg.
