Today he is the CEO of the Saudi-funded LIV Golf league, and is often in the headlines for the ongoing rivalry between LIV and the PGA Tour. When the actions of LIV’s CEO deeply hurt his friend, Andy Mill. Mill accused his former best friend of stealing his happiness. Was Greg Norman accused of theft?

In August 2007, Andy Mill unsealed his lips on his split with his ex-wife and tennis superstar, Chris Evert. He ultimately blamed his long-time best friend, Greg Norman, for ruining his marriage. Mill was heartbroken by the end of 18 years of marriage. However, their friendship was so strong that the US Olympic ski champion was ready to let go of his life for Norman.

“Greg Norman at one time was my best friend and a year-and-a-half ago, I would have taken a bullet for this guy,” said Evert’s ex-husband. He could have done anything for the two-time major championship winner. However, his betrayal broke their friendship. According to the ski champion, Norman was the one to steal his ex-wife. He never imagined his best friend would stab him in the back.

Evert filed for divorce in November 2006, citing the reason as “irreconcilable differences.” However, the tennis star and the Australian golfer have been linked romantically since October 2006. Even though he was in pain, the divorce was finalized with a significant settlement on December 4, 2006, which was like torment to the ski star. According to him, the breaking of 18 year long marriage was “the worst day in my life.”

What happened to Chris and Norman?

After divorcing the Olympic skier, Tennis star Evert married Norman in 2008. However, their relationship did not last long, and they separated in September 2009. The couple of 18 months made their separation official with a secret divorce in an obscure Florida courthouse.

However, according to the Australian Associated Press (AAP) reports, the former couple said their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
