Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s tech-forward golf league, TGL, is just about to commence at the beginning of the first year. There were a lot of speculations around the new league when the $3 billion merger was announced; however, now it seems like the PGA Tour pros’ tech golf league is nothing but flourishing.

Just a few weeks ago, the TGL joined hands with Serena Williams, who went on to become the owner of the league’s first team, the Los Angeles Golf Club. Fenway Sports Group soon followed in her footsteps and bought the second team, the Boston Franchise. And now, as per recent reports, the league has signed its official technology partner. And surprisingly, for the golf world, it is an extremely familiar face!

It has just been a few days since the golf world came to know about Tiger Woods’ major decision to join the PGA Tour Policy Board after being silent for almost 2 months on the merger. Woods’ decision to join the league was well-received by some people in the fraternity, whereas some people had stern inhibitions. Just days after the major step, the golf legend shared elated news about his new prime-time golf league.

On Wednesday, Full Swing announced themselves as the official partner of TGL. Through a tweet, they stated that the company would contribute to the majority of the technology solutions for the league’s innovative gameplay. The brand itself was very excited about the collaboration, and it eagerly looked forward to creating a never-seen-before experience.

Technology is the core of the new TGL league, and the aim is to provide a cutting-edge experience to the spectators and the golfers. The prime-time setup that will facilitate the magic in two hours will be extremely extraordinary. The setup will include Full Swing kit launch monitors, Full Swing simulators, virtual greens, virtual caddies, virtual holes, and custom software that will help connect the virtual and live action.

Full Swing is the official licensee of the PGA Tour in the golf simulator category, and the brand also endorses PGAT pros, namely Tiger Woods, Justin Rose, Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, and Brooke Henderson. While a deal with a tech partner was invariably inevitable for the fast-growing TGL, the co-founder and golf legend himself is more excited that this partnership is with his old pal, with whom he’s had ties for almost a decade!

According to the 15-time major winner himself, he knew that he wanted to partner with Full Swing in order to provide the best experience for the players and the viewers. He stated that he would be more than comfortable working with the brand because he was familiar with it and believed in its quality.

The 5X Masters champion shared that he has been using Full Swing for almost ten years at home, and he likes how the brand continually works on its technology and keeps innovating it.
