The 42-year-old tennis sensation has had her fair share of injuries and rehabs. Once upon a time, she wanted to pursue the sport of golf, but not anymore. She thinks it requires skills and precision to hit a shot. “It’s so technical. And if you’re doing it wrong, you get hurt really easy.”

Michelle Wie West’s bizarre appendicitis story
Although the LPGA Tour legend is now retired, she has faced a lot of challenges during her time on the course.
During a tournament in Canada, West was in the lead by five shots in the final round on Sunday. However, she was unexpectedly rushed to have her appendix removed that day.
West shared that she had been struggling with colitis and had been frequently visiting the ER.
She texted her caddie that she would return to the golf course after a quick check, but was informed that her appendix had to be removed. This meant that she would have to withdraw from the tournament.

Which wasn’t that easy because she had to be physically present on the grounds to do so.
