After his divorce in 2010, Tiger Woods has been in a couple of relationships. However, none of his affairs lasted much longer until he found Erica Herman. The golfer has been with the former restaurant manager for 5+ years, and reports suggest that she even has got a green signal from his ex-wife and the mother of his two children, Elin Nordegren. 

“Elin has a friendly relationship with Erica,” a source told ‘People’. “Tiger has come a long way and Elin acknowledges that,” the statement from the source to the outlet further read. “She is happy that he is dating Erica.”

Nordegren and Woods’ six years of marriage ended on a bitter note. However, the two kept in touch after the divorce as they decided to co-parent their children – Sam Alexis and Charlie Axel Woods. 

In an interview after his divorce with Nordegren, the 15-time major champion revealed that he considers his ex-wife his best friend now. According to him, they started communicating better after their split. 

Tiger Woods may have gotten on the right side of his ex-wife. But, it is tough for an ex and the present partner to become friends. However, sources’ reports suggest that Nordegren and Herman share a friendly relationship. 

How did Tiger Woods meet his present girlfriend?

According to an employee who worked in 2016 as a server assistant at The Woods, Erica Herman met Woods while she was an undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida. Source also revealed that she visited Woods’ restaurant as a customer first. 

Eventually, Herman, who worked as a bartender during her college years, became the VIP manager at the bar. Furthermore, the source also disclosed that the golfer and Herman didn’t start dating until she graduated from college.
