A return to the PNC for young Charlie and Tiger

The pair first turned up to the competition two years ago, finishing in seventh place. It was Daly and co who triumphed eventually, but it remains to be seen whether the Woods faction could cross the last hurdle for their maiden victory.

But by all accounts, all parties involved were happy with Woods’ return. NBC Sports’ Jon Miller, whose company is partnered with the PNC Championship, was delighted by the golf legend’s participation. “We are counting down the days to present the PNC Championship across our platforms in just a few short weeks, and having Tiger and Charlie return for a third time as part of this year’s field of major champions competing alongside their loved ones, only adds to the special nature of this celebrated event,” he said.
