Just weeks ago, Newton claimed that she “might be the best golfer in the MCU” and challenged Tom Holland to a match. Although the showdown between the two Hollywood stars remains, the Ant-Man actress recently proved how good she really is by playing on the LPGA Tour of all places.

Newton took to the field at the pro-am of the JM Eagle LA Championship at the Wilshire Country Club and flaunted her incredible skills. The 26-year-old was on fire on the course, and not even a broken driver stopped her from making birdie after birdie. “I made 16 birdie putts today,” she wrote in her latest post on Twitter. “That’s magic! Feeling Lucky!”

Golf world reacts to Newton’s mind-blowing achievement

16 birdies, even in Scrabble, is no ordinary achievement, and the fans knew that. They too had felt the “magic” Newton had spoken of while watching her play, and lauded her for it.

Fans sang high praises for her, calling her the queen and claiming that her remarkable play was inevitable.

One fan explained that she was saddened that Newton was an actress because she would have made a great golf professional too. And with 16 birdies in the LPGA event, who could deny that?
