Lexi Thompson’s Instagram post highlights her commitment to health, and her followers are impressed. In the video she posted on social media, Thompson and her trainer Kolby Wayne can be seen exercising in a gym. One can say that she wants to be in a good space, not only mentally but also physically. The caption read: “Stronger every day with @kolbywayne.”

As soon as the post went up, out came a flood of appreciation and support from her fan base.

Lexi Thompson’s struggles at Baltusrol

Lexi Thompson is coming into the US Women’s Open after a below-par performance at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship last month at Baltusrol. She carded an awful 76 in the first round and even though she improved with decent rounds over the next three days, it was not enough to earn her a respectable position on the leaderboard. With a total of 4-over par, she finished tied 47th in New Jersey which disappointed her fans not a little.  

But that’s past now. Thompson, winner of the Chevron Championship in 2014, is a seasoned player and can turn her fortunes around quickly. The US Women’s Open, which will kick off on July 6 and go on till July 9, is a massive opportunity for her to prove that.
