Paige Spiranac is a social media influencer by profession. As part of her job, she would have to try to experience new things in her life so to create good content videos. However, after releasing the latest episode of her podcast, her fans might have realized that there is something that she will never ever do in her life, even if it is to create content online.
“If you take this, you will die.” That was what her mother warned Spiranac when she was little. And a decade or more later, the former professional golfer still is scared to disobey her mother.

Colorado is one of the nineteen US states that legalized cannabis (recreational marijuana). However, the 29-year-old Colorado native, who used to call herself a ‘party girl,’ has never used it in her entire life.
Paige Spiranac explains why homeschooling led her to be afraid of taking d*ugs
The retired golfer further said, “I have My mom… she was my teacher when I was homeschooled. And we took this dr*g class together.” According to the ‘Wasp Stings + Q&A’ episode of her Playing a Round with Paige Renee podcast, her mother’s warning during her homeschooling days scared her from taking drugs for a lifetime.
“It’s like that scene in Mean Girls, or he’s like, if you have s*x, you will die,” she explained. Spiranac further added, “So I’ve just always been so petrified of even experimenting, touching, like, whatever.”

The 1-time Cactus Tour champion admits to being scared of taking d*ugs. However, her podcast episode revealed that she is not against using it. “Like I said, if that’s what you do, like no, no judgment at all, but I’m just so scared of doing that,” Spiranac added.
The former golfer doesn’t promote homeschooling kids
Paige Spiranac is a retired professional golfer-turned-social media influencer. Although her first career didn’t go as well as planned, she found success as an influencer who mainly creates content related to golf.
Notably, Spiranac has been homeschooled her entire life, except for college, and turned out to be a successful entrepreneur. However, she doesn’t promote homeschooling among her peers and always denotes herself as a ‘weird homeschooled kid, trying to fit in with others.’

In fact, she was one of the first to respond when Jon Rahm decided not to homeschool his kids. The Spaniard revealed that the Rahms intent to send their children to school once they are old enough.

Spiranac believes she missed out on a lot because of her homeschooling days. However, her podcast episode revealed that she doesn’t regret not using d*ugs because of it. It is a choice the 29-year-old made by herself, even though her mother’s class influenced her to do it.
