The PNC Championship ended with lots of good memories for players. Amongst many teams, there was one team that indeed won hearts this year: Team Sorenstam. Annika Sorеnstam and her son, Will McGее, finished at T-11. The mother-son duo had a stunning time on the course playing together, and it seems that Will is still charmed by the fun he had on the course!

When you play alongside or against giants such as John Daly, Tiger Woods, Steve Stricker, or Justin Thomas, you have to listen to what they say! So did Sorenstam’s precious will! The 12-year-old had a chance to interact with the giants, and John Daly had a heartfelt message for him and his mother.

Will McGee stole hearts last week. He displayed stunning skills and even made an ace during one of the practice rounds! It was all in all a beautiful week for the 12-year-old. The former LPGA star’s son wants to do better, and he sought advice from none other than John Daly.

SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio shared a video of Will entering Daly along with some other players. Will asked Daly what his advice would be for someone who is his age and is just getting started in the game. To which Daly had just a plain answer, “Chip and putt. Just chip and putt. If you can’t chip and putt, then don’t worry about the other stuff.”

Along with his pearls of wisdom, the Long John also praised Sorenstam. He told Will that his mother is probably one of the best players with short games who has ever lived. He advised Will to seek game-related knowledge from his mother: “So, it’s all about right, and thank you, your mom; she knows what she’s doing. I guarantee she played one of the best games.” Hearing this, Will smiled and nodded.

The highlight of the week for Sorеnstam was surely playing with her son. The two even shared an emotional moment after they walked on the 18th, after the tournament’s conclusion.
