Nelly Korda recently talked about the mindset she has before the start of every event. The pro golfer got real with fans all around when she described how she actually felt while playing. However, things are not going as smoothly for Korda as you’d expect. She has faced considerable amount of backlash in recent days.

Nelly Korda, has had an unmatchable amateur career. The pro golfer continues to make news every now and then with her incredible performance on professional tours. She has won several accolades and remains to be one of the key inspirations for women in golf.

Nelly Korda describes the mindset she takes

The pro golfer is a sensation in the world of women’s golf. Her skill and finesse at the sport are unmatched. To add to the cherry on top of things, she recently chose to share what goes on in her mind while playing.

As a matter of fact, Korda has faced backlash in the recent past for choosing to avoid pre-tournament media duties at the Women’s Open. There were talks regarding what the reason behind this might be.

Korda said, “I’ve had a long couple of weeks. It was the day of my pro-am and I was just really tired.  Sometimes you’ve got to give your body a break.”

She continued, “That’s kind of like the mindset that I try to take into every event. Obviously, there are expectations but you try to settle down and keep your head down and go with the flow.”

Korda probably did a splendid job trying to explain her side of the story to people around. She also let fans in on what goes in her mind before she steps on the course.

Nelly’s attempts to grow the game of Golf

Korda is ranked highly in the world in women’s golf. Her mastery of the game inspires women all over the world. Nelly competed in the Aramco Team Series: Spain Round 3 with Jessica Korda. The format of the series was rather unusual. 36 teams of four players compete over two days, using a unique scoring system that allows an amateur to contribute to the final outcome of a professional tour event with a total prize fund of $1 million.

In an interview held during the same, Nelly said,  “I think it’s a super exciting format. It’s always really exciting when you kind of get to do something a little different, a little unique. I think it brings in a little bit of new energy.

She added, “At the end of the day, you’re always just trying to grow the game of golf, get more people interested, show them it’s super exciting. I think this, the Aramco Team Series does that perfectly.”

As Nelly Korda correctly points out, the golf course is the major competitor in the dynamic game of golf. When you play golf, you constantly improve your game, learn, and grow. It is critical that the benefits of this game are not restricted and that awareness is raised.
