The winner will get a whopping increase of $1.3 million, while the 33rd-placed team will get the minimum increase of $19,688. Till the 11 place, teams will earn more than $108,100, while below that, the team will keep decreasing subsequently to $19,000.

Zurich Classic record low

After the first round, Nicolai and Rasmus Hojgaard tied for the record low for some time, with their score of 13 under, 59. However, it didn’t stay for long as the record was then taken over by the rookie team of the PGA Tour professional. Isaiah Salinda and Kevin Velo, who are paired together, set the new record at the Zurich Classic.

The rookie team scored under 14, 58, to set the new record low in the score. The team recorded 12 birdies and one eagle to set the record low. Even the team has continued to stay in the lead in the second round despite scoring two bogeys. Salinda and Velo scored 5 birdies and two bogeys to end the round with 3 under, 69. However, they are still in the lead with one stroke over the second-placed Andrew Novak, Ben Griffin, and the third-placed Nicolai Hojgaard, Rasmus Hojgaard.

Now, with the close competition and players setting new records, the final two days at the event are going to be filled with adrenaline for the fans.
