PGA Tour Pro prefers his other fatal occupation to golfing in front of an audience

Dan recently had an interactive session with NFL star Kyle Rudolph, where Kyle asked to pick him the easier job among his two professions.

Kyle asked Dan what makes him more nervous, hitting a tee shot off number one in front of a crowd of people watching or taking off from an aircraft career in his F-16.

To this, Dan gave a very confident answer. He replied??I would say a five-foot putt. Because when you know you are good at something, you?re pretty good. Like God has given me this gift. I am being humble. But it?s like man I got this. When you know you don?t have the skills that?s when you get really nervous about what might happen.?

Kyle replied cheekily to this,??That explains why I am so nervous on the first tee. Because I don?t have the skill and I have no idea where the ball is going.? He further explained that a lot of people watching too makes him nervous and it is not his comfort zone. Dan on the other hand has done much in the field of golf.

Dan Rooney – a seasoned PGA Tour professional

Dan has been a motivational speaker for two US Ryder Cup Teams. As a PGA Tour Pro, he started Patriot Golf Day to benefit his non-profit, ?Folds of Honor.? The organization provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of wounded or military service members who?ve passed away. Taking inspiration from the legendary Jack Nicklaus and in collaboration with him, Dan has also founded two nationally ranked golf clubs, The Patriot Golf Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan.
