In a recent video shared by Golf Digest, Meredith can be seen talking about how Scheffler used to be when they first met. And believe it or not, she called him the “weirdest person” she knew! Here’s what she claimed:

‘He was a lot more shy when we first met. And then, now I’m like, he’s the weirdest person I know”. Well, a lot of Scheffler’s fans might not find it that surprising to hear. Surely, the golfer’s behavior towards his own victories and records has been pretty humble. And even his wife mentioned how less he seems to be proud of his achievements.

“I always thought he…had a super humble ambiance about him. That he was just a really down-to-earth guy that doesn’t take himself too seriously. Even when he had amazing accomplishments, that wasn’t the most important thing about him. That was probably my first reaction of him.”

Scheffler and Meredith have been dating since the time they were in high school. The two decided to marry each other back in 2020, and so they share a unique level of comfort with each other in their relationship.
