Moreover, Andrassy once opened up about how her children did not like Norman’s then new wife, Chris Evert, at all.

Laura Andrassy opened up about the impact of Greg Norman and Chris Evert’s relationship on her children

Norman was married to his ex-wife Laura Andrassy for almost three decades. The couple was living a happy life until the golfer fell in love with tennis star, Chris Evert. Norman met Evert through his then-best friend Andy Mill, who was married to the tennis professional at the time. However, things didn’t remain the same after the two fell in love. Norman soon decided to divorce his then-wife, Andrassy and broke the news to her over a phone call.

After Andrassy recovered from the shock of what was happening in her life, she opened up about Evert. Norman and Andrassy had two children together named Greg Norman, Jr. and Morgan-Leigh. But after their divorce, Andrassy claimed that her children “did not like Evert at all”. Andrassy also talked about how Evert had pursued Norman like no one she had ever seen. “She came after him – I have never seen anything like it,” Andrassy said. “It just turned into a fiasco. I really don’t have a lot of respect for her as a woman – she is not a great person.”

Andrassy also reached out to Mill, Evert’s ex-husband, while she was still in shock about the situation. “I said to Andy when I spoke to him today, `It’s like a bad movie – and we’re in it!’” she said. However, she claimed that she had no contact with Norman ever since their split. But the golfer was very close to his children and that was enough for her. Laura Andrassy also talked about how she had no idea that things were not okay between the two. But she mentioned that her children “picked up vibes” and sensed that something was off about Norman. The golf legend was together with Evert for a mere 15 months, and the two got separated eventually.
