American tennis player Serena Williams is one of the most famous sporting personalities. She has put the sport of tennis on the world map, such is her influence. She has been around for over two decades and the intensity in her games still remains the same.

Since her withdrawal from Wimbledon 2021, Serena is yet to return to the tour. In her absence, she has been extra active on social media, keeping her fans engaged. Recently, Serena Williams posted a video of herself wearing a beautiful dress on Instagram. 

Serena Williams has been having a good time off the courts 

Williams has had a hectic schedule off the court over the past month. The movie King Richard released last month which is based on the lives of the Williams family. The focus is mainly on her father, Richard Williams, who groomed both his daughters into two of the greatest tennis players of all time. 

His role has been played by Hollywood legend Will Smith. The movie received a great response from audiences and some people have termed it one of the best sporting movies ever made. 

Recently, she put up a small video along with a caption that said, “Good Morning.” The video seemed to be from a photoshoot in which Serena took center-stage.

Coming to tennis, Williams began her season in Melbourne and reached the semifinal before going down to Naomi Osaka. After that, she had an average clay season and competed in just a couple of events prior to the French Open. 

Sadly, in the first round at the Wimbledon Championships, she had to withdraw from her match as she had injured herself, which left her with no option but to walk away. 

Well, now that the 2021 season is over, it will be interesting to see how Williams performs in the upcoming season. All eyes will be on her if she can win her 24th Grand Slam title.
