Gear Tactics is an XCOM-style turn-based strategy game that released on PC in April. It is set in the Gears of War universe and players squad-up against monsters. The game has been developed by Splash Damage in conjunction with The Coalition and published by Xbox Game Pass.
In an Xbox Wire post today, it was announced Gear tactics has gone gold.

“Today, The Coalition and Xbox are proud to announce that Gears Tactics for Xbox consoles has gone gold – a major milestone ahead of the launch of the title next month.”
Furthermore, it was revealed that the final discs for the game have been released for manufacturing. This will allow the game to release right in time with the console launch in November.
An update was also announced for the achievements list. Alongside that will be another November update that will add new characters and enemies.
“Gears Tactics is getting a big update to all platforms on November 10, that includes the Gears of War’s signature companion, Jack, as part of your squad, the new Deviant enemies, the new Supreme equipment and enhanced Xbox controls.”

Xbox- Gear Tactics Jacked Game Mode achievements
These are 11 new achievements going to be added, other than the updated achievement list. These 11 achievements will amount to 400 Gamerscore while the total updated list will amount to 1400 Gamerscore.

| One For All! | Have four members in your squad with the Jacked status effect at the same time (Jacked game mode only). | 10 |
| You can’t see me! | Gain a Supply with a Hidden Jack and no other allies in the Supply Point (Jacked game mode only). | 20 |
| For he is truly his brother’s keeper… | Use Jack to rescue both soldiers from torture pods on a Rescue mission (Jacked game mode only). | 30 |

Gear Tactics will release on November 10 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-order the game or play it on the Xbox Game Pass before December 4 to receive the Thrashball Cole Character Pack, which includes Augustus Cole as a recruit and the Thrashball Armor Set.
