While speaking on their match, Djokovic stated, “I’ve been following Olga since she was very young. Her father was one of the greatest basketball players of all time in our country. She’s got great genes for sports, she won the WTA title in Russia and she struggled in the last couple of years to find that level.”

The 20-time Grand Slam winner feels that the youngster has got nothing to lose. For a 20-year-old, she has already won a WTA title in Russia a few years ago. Although she has struggled with form recently, she can surely turn the fortunes with time on her side. She does remain in contact with the best player in the world.

The World No. 1 from Serbia added, “Still, she’s young, only 20 years old, she’s fit, strong. We’ve been speaking a lot with her team and coach. Tomorrow she’s got nothing to lose and she’s excited to play on the big stage on the center court. She’s pumped and I’m hoping for the best for her.”
