Gotham Knights will have co-op mode

The developers recently updated the fans that the game will have a two-person co-op mode. This is splendid news as many players will enjoy the in-game experience with their friends. But in some good for those who prefer going it alone and enjoying the game solo, game developers have also specified that the co-op mode is not mandatory.

“Yes, absolutely. That you can also completely experience in solo if you want to, you’re not going to miss out on anything. If you’re playing single player, you can be offline if you want to. We think that teaming up and living that dynamic duo fantasy can be also a really great experience for players, but we won’t force it on them.”

This shows that the game developers are also thinking from fans point of view and are including every bit of suggestions from all players in the gaming community.

Advantages of co-op over single player

Multiplayer mode is always loved by players on a very large scale. Hence, the game developers are trying to attract as many players as they can with this feature. Playing a game with your friends always feels more dramatic than playing it solo.

Patrick Redding told IGN earlier this year, “Because the characters are so distinct from each other, there’s a bit of asymmetry, a bit of the complementary skill set and ability set that actually makes teaming up kind of awesome if you happen to have different characters.”

Players don’t have to worry about selecting unique characters while playing together in co-op; they can play with the same character altogether.

“Now, if you happen to have two Batgirls, you can also do that. Obviously, the potential of having different Batgirl builds, and how they look different and play differently is really cool too.”
