Grigor Dimitrov Plans to Take a Degree From “Harvard Business School” During Coronavirus Outbreak

As the world continues to battle against the novel coronavirus, a growing number of athletes are rallying to donate money and help out during the crisis. Former World No.3 Grigor Dimitrov becomes the latest sports star to step up to raise awareness and relief funds for those impacted by the disease. Moreover, how does Dimitrov plans to spend his time during self-quarantine? He gives an update.

There are 245 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria. Furthermore, three deaths have been reported related to the disease as well as three recoveries. The country is already in a state of emergency over COVID-19 pandemic since March 13. Consequently, Dimitrov stepped in to help medical workers and hospitals fight the global pandemic.

Grigor Dimitrov donates generously amid coronavirus pandemic

The Bulgarian revealed that he donated respirators to Haskovo hospital in Bulgaria during Nikolaos Tsitridis show at bTV News. Dimitrov also explained that “unification makes the force” and that everyone should be cohesive in the time of crisis.

“There is no tennis at the moment, but we have ourselves. We have big hearts and we keep moving forward. This time will pass. Let’s just love the people around us and support each other. We are a strong nation,” Dimitrov said.

How Dimitrov is spending his time during quarantine?

He also revealed where quarantine took him and how he is training during the pandemic. The only thing that makes the 28-year-old positive is that there will be tournaments. Although he does not know when the tour resumes, he is just trying to be positive during these challenging times.

“It is more important to keep ourselves safe, to be positive, which is really not easy. We are accustomed to a different way of life, which at the moment makes us learn something completely different about ourselves,” he added.

Dimitrov is currently quarantined in California. Subsequently, he desires to meet his relatives and just spend time with them. He might have to stay in the US for two months, after which he will go home. Furthermore, he intends to take an online course at Harvard University and take a degree from the prestigious institute. “I’ve always wanted Harvard Business School,” Dimitrov revealed.

“At the moment it’s just me and my coach. There are no fans to take care of me. I’ll be back in Europe right after the state of emergency, maybe in Bulgaria,” he concluded.

We all must take inspiration from Dimitrov and stay at home in order to control the situation. We all must follow the protocols in order to combat COVID-19 and hence subside the disease from the world.
