GTA: The Trilogy- The Definitive Edition has a glitch using which players can increase the size of their car. On 17th Nov 2021, John Linneman shared about this glitch on Twitter. John Linneman is a senior staff writer and video producer who works for Eurogamer and Digital Foundry. This is what he says through the tweet:

“There was a tweet going around about the car growing in GTA3 – a bug that was also present in the original game, as shown here. What’s interesting to me is that this bug somehow survived despite undergoing so many conversions on the way to the DE release. I’m kind of shocked tbh”.

What’s actually happening in this glitch is when a player drives their car in a zig-zag pattern. And within 30 seconds of doing this, the size of the car will increase, turning it into a giant car. It’s very hilarious to watch this and experience it in the game as well. In fact, the fans have named it the “Ghost Car” glitch. It’s very hard to believe that this glitch made its way to this game even after 20 years of release. And this is something that was not expected from a company like Rockstar games.

Anyway, GTA: The Trilogy- The Definitive Edition is already suffering from a very rough launch which features lots of other bugs/glitches as well. As far as now, many fans have shared about this same glitch on Twitter. All of these tweets have many retweets and likes, and these numbers are still increasing each moment. The entire gaming community is now very well aware of it.

And there are chances that by now devs themselves also must be aware of this glitch. As of now, the devs have released no official news about this issue. But fans can expect some announcements about updates/patches in the coming few days. Because it’s been quite long and the game is crawling with bugs and glitches. Eventually, it’s getting difficult for players to enjoy this game.
