American tennis player Jessica Pegula manages to bring her best tennis when she is competing in Melbourne. Like the previous season, she has managed to reach the quarterfinal at the Australian Open in consecutive seasons. 

However, this time, Pegula’s attention is just not on her game but also on the team her parents own NFL’s Buffalo Bills. Currently, the Bills are scheduled to take on Kansas City Chiefs tomorrow.

Jessica Pegula has her mind in two places 

After winning the third-round match at the Australian Open 2022, Jessica turned her focus on the Bills. She signed on the camera Bills your next, indicating that she has done her job so far and that now it is their turn to end up on the winning side. 

Speaking on this topic, Pegula stated, “It was so random, but I’m like this is perfect. Bills you’re next. I’m like come on, I backed myself up, now you guys got to get the win.”

Reflecting on Jessica’s performances so far, she has managed to register some impressive results during the past week. She beat fellow American player Bernarda Pera in straight sets.

However, she caused an upset when she managed to knock out 5th seed Maria Sakkari today. Nonetheless, it does not end here as the competition only gets tougher from here onwards. 

In the quarterfinals, she will be up against favorite and World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty. They will be facing each other on Tuesday. It will be interesting to see how Jessica utilizes the given time in her preparation.

We wish both players the best of luck and may the better play end up on the winning side. The women’s final of the Australian Open 2022 will be taking place on Saturday, the 29th of January.
