Biles? NLF safety boyfriend, Jonathan Owens, revealed his thoughts on gymnastics early in the relationship. Notably, before watching Biles perform in reality, Owens considered gymnastics as an easy sport.

Biles and Owens have been dating for over 15 months now and have never left a chance to appreciate each other.

Through an interview, Owens shared his initial thoughts about gymnastics. The NLF star took time to realize how tough and tricky the sport actually is.

“It took me a while to come to grips with how hard her sport was. When we were first together, I was like, `Man, you can?t come outside and guard these wide receivers. Gymnastics is not that hard,'”?said Owens.

Only after watching Biles compete for the first time, Owens realized the hard work required to reach her level. It was in Fort Worth when Owens saw her perform live for the first time.

?Unbelievable. It?s so amazing to watch. When I saw her for the first time, I realized that the TV really doesn?t do it justice. When she goes out there and does it, it looks so effortless,? said Jonathan.

Biles claimed her seventh U.S. title there, putting her best moves on display as always.

Owens shared his love story with Biles in an interview, acknowledging their affection and bond. It was back in March 2020, just before the pandemic, when they met and found a home within one another.

?We ended up hanging out right before the pandemic. It was one of the few times in her life where everything was just shut off and she couldn?t do anything,? said Owens.

?So, we used it to get to know each other, really get to know each other. It created our bond and made it stronger.?
