18-year-old American gymnast Suni Lee had her shining moment at Tokyo Olympics 2020. The defending champion and GOAT of gymnastics, Simone Biles, was slated to clinch the podium finishes. However, Biles had to take a step back because of her mental health. That’s when Suni Lee came into the picture and stunningly clinched the gold medal for Team USA at Tokyo Olympics 2020.
After a successful Olympics, Suni will now venture into showbiz and debut at the show Dancing with the Stars.
Rigorous training for Suni Lee in Los Angeles

Simone Biles and team USA’s gymnasts are heading to the Gold Over America tour for the next months. But Suni Lee won’t be joining the team on the gymnastics tour, as she has been training for something else.
Following the footsteps of her teammate Simone, Suni Lee is training for Dancing with the Stars season 30. The 18-year-old is currently practicing in Los Angeles. Her day started with training at the West Coast Elite Gymnastics gym in LA. The Olympic champion is just focusing on practicing bars right now while resting from the other events.

Once Suni is done with her gym training, she heads to practice for her show, Dancing with the Stars. The young star is also trying to balance her studies along with gymnastics. Suni Lee is a freshman at Auburn University and has been taking online classes.
Suni will compete with 13 other dancers at the show. In the past, Olympic gold medalists Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Nastia Liukin, Laurie Hernandez, and Shawn Johnson have appeared on the show.
A sparkling year for the young gymnast

Suni Lee’s 2021 season started with her victorious performance at Tokyo Olympics 2020. Suni performed her best when the team needed her the most. She clinched the gold medal in the women’s artistic individual all-around event. Lee also clinched the silver and bronze medals in team and uneven bars events, respectively.
Suni also made her golden debut at the iconic fashion event, Met Gala 2021. She wore a beautiful all-gold dress, signifying her golden victory at Tokyo Olympics 2020. Lee also made it to the Times 100 Most Influential People list in 2021.

Suni will soon start her campaign to win at the Dancing with the Stars, season 30. The show will premier on the 20th of September 2021.
