Halo Infinite was announced way back in June 2018 and has kept fans waiting ever since. This will be the third installation in the ‘Reclaimer Saga’ and will center around the beloved Master Chief. The ‘Reclaimer Saga’ started with Halo 4, the previous one being Halo 5: Guardians, which saw Master Chief and Locke go head-to-head. Infinite is planned as a launch title for Microsoft’s Xbox Series X.

‘Halo: Infinite’ is being developed by 343 Industries using the all-new ‘Slipspace Engine’. The game will also see the return of the split-screen mode and will have a beta release before being officially available. ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ was launched back in 2015 and fans have waited 5 years for the story to be continued. Well, it is almost time but looks like action figure creator Mega Bloks may have already given us a potentially major spoiler.

Take a look at the picture below:

Looks like a pretty regular photo of the action figures but here’s where things get interesting. The figure to the right of Master Chief is named as ‘Hyperious.’ He could be the brute whose voice was heard in 343i’s latest teaser.  This is where 343 confirmed ‘The Banished’ being a major part of the game. But, it doesn’t end there.

Take a close look at Hyperious’ right shoulder. You can see the helmet on the shoulder belongs to Spartan Locke who was one of the main characters in Halo 5: Guardians. Does this mean that Locke is dead and if so, did Hyperious kill him? These are some of the major questions raised by the fans upon seeing the picture. This could be a huge spoiler and fans are already pondering over the fact that it might actually be true.

The Reddit community is already discussing the potential impact this may have on the plot of the series. 343i could also have approved this as a marketing move to set things in motion. We will find out soon enough
