Halo Veteran Makes a Return to the Team

343 Industries’ announcement that Halo Infinite was being delayed to 2021 had disheartened the fans. However, the sun is shining brightly for all the fans as the latest Halo community update brings in some great news.
Apart from the delay, the studio had also announced that the multiplayer mode would be free-to-play. That was followed by the studio announcing three soundtracks for the game.
And now, Pierre Hintze, the Head of Publishing team, has joined the Halo Infinite team as the project lead for the multiplayer mode.

Staten returns to the Halo team
Joseph Staten will also return as the project lead for the Halo campaign for the 2021 release.
“Joseph Staten will be returning home to Halo for a bit. After helping launch Tell Me Why this week, he’ll be coming on board as project lead for the campaign as we push towards our 2021 release.

Staten had been a big name on previous Halo titles before he shifted to Xbox Game Studios back in 2014. His return after six years is aimed at helping the team deliver a fulfilling Halo experience once again.

Halo’s delay upset many fans. In the official statement, 343 Industries stated that the current world pandemic has been hard on all of them. And that pushing the launch date would only help them deliver a better game. There have been many rumors going about it. However, it looks like the team is doing its best to make the process speed up.

The community update also addressed a serious issue at hand, which is the steady stream of leaks regarding Halo Infinite. To put all that to rest, the team came forth and asked the community to only trust statements made via official channels.

Halo Infinite was supposed to be a launch title for the new Xbox Series X. However, following the gameplay reveal, many had criticized its graphics and gameplay; with the majority stating that it did not feel like a game for the next-gen console. But with Staten back on board, things should be smoother hereon.
