The World No.2 pulled out of the 2020 US Open due to the coronavirus pandemic. He feels that people still don’t have control of the situation and that is why he doesn’t travel right now.
In addition to that, the Spaniard also said that the scheduling played a role in his decision. He thinks that the transition from hard-court to clay would be very dangerous which is understandable as he has had many injuries throughout his career.
