‘He is Getting Bigger’ – Stipe Miocic addresses Jon Jones Situation

Stipe Miocic vs Francis Ngannou is a fight everyone is waiting for. Their UFC 260 clash is going to be a rematch of their 2018 fight, which ended in a Stipe Miocic victory. Ahead of his defense, the champion was asked to comment on the heavyweight division’s high-profile arrival.

How will Jon Jones adapt to the Heavyweight division?

Jon Jones is one of the greatest UFC light heavyweight fighters of all time, and he is now all set to make his heavyweight debut. UFC President Dana White has already announced that Jones will face the winner of the Miocic and Francis fight.

During an interview, White said, ” We could have that fight this summer.”

With Dana White confirming the fact that Jones would fight the winner, while in conversation Miocic expressed his views on the same, “I think he (Jones) will do well, he is an amazing fighter, he is one of the best of all time.”

With a potential Miocic vs Jon Jones fight on the line, Miocic talked about whether he was thinking about his potential fight with Jones, “He’s bulking up, getting bigger, he is an amazing fighter, but right now my focus is on Saturday, I’m fighting Francis.” 

Stipe Miocic is arguably one of the greatest heavyweight fighters of all time, and he knows thinking about the Jones fight would only hamper his chances against Ngannou,” I can’t look ahead, I look ahead that’s when things fall apart.”

What Stipe Miocic had to say about the UFC 260 fight?

Following ‘The Predator’s insane KO streak and Miocic’s dominance as champion, everyone highly expected this fight to take place. And finally, it is happening. During an interview, Stipe talked about whether this fight differs from the rest.

While in conversation Miocic shared his views” I think it’s like that every time you know. On occasions like someone’s trying to take my belt, nothing new but listen, it will be a hell of a fight, but I’m coming out with the belt, with my hands raised up and the gold around my waist.”

Francis Ngannou is one of the hardest hitters in the division, and when asked Stipe about the same, he said,” No he hits hard no questions, I think he brings the power.”

Stipe Miocic Vs Jon Jones looks really tempting and that fight would be a grand spectacle for sure, but for now, Miocic has his eyes fixed on UFC 260 and Francis Ngannou.
