Kamaru Usman pursued a lot of his colleagues in the interview. He spoke about Conor Mcgregor, Colby Covington, and of course Jorge Masvidal. firing some serious shots at him.

Kamaru said, “Honestly, if I’m being honest, do I believe that he deserves the fight next? No, I don’t think that he deserves the fight. But at the same time, he’s got the hype right now.” He said Masvidal doesn’t deserve to fight him right now, as the fighter is all hype. He’s barely made a mark in the UFC and the BMF title doesn’t in any way make him a worthy opponent.

Usman also takes a dig at Masvidal’s attempt at acting. Usman said, “Now you lost some weight, did a little Spanish reality show and came back and now he thinks he’s just Jacques Cousteau or something. My man, relax!” Kamaru puts Masvidal in his place with the last statement, telling him not to think too highly of himself.

Kamaru Usman’s fight against Jorge Masvidal was supposed to take place this July. Right now, however, the event is uncertain. Coronavirus has put all events on hold until further notice. Who will Kamaru face next? Will it be Jorge Masvidal, or someone he actually thinks deserves a match-up?
