Carrollton High is a gift that keeps on giving. Back in 2023, we saw one of the best players land in the college football space. Who you might ask? Juju, of course. Julian Lewis is a prodigy who everyone wants. Standing on a 4-star rating as per 247Sports, Julian Lewis is all set to take the USC Trojans to a new high in 2025. But guess what? If you thought he was the only standout to come out of Carrollton and set the turf on fire, then you are wrong.

Back on Instagram, Carrollton High LB CJ Gamble posted an update. “Blessed to receive an offer from The University of South Florida🤘🏾” Gamble noted in the caption of his post. This season, the Bulls are in a tough spot. Standing on a 3-4 run, this team showed quite the promise when they managed to go toe to toe with a giant like Alabama Crimson Tide. However, the fall-off after that game was rough.

Now, with the dreams of cracking the playoffs or the Bowl games off the table, if HC Alex Golesh wants to make a comeback in 2025, he needs some special talent. And who could be a better addition than Gamble? This guy won the LB of the Year award back in 2022 and has done some solid work for the Carrollton Trojans.
Standing at 6’2″ and 210 lbs, Gamble could be the guy the Bulls defensive line needs. If we check the 2024 season tape, the Bulls have allowed at least 30 points on average in almost every single game.
And to add insult to injury, the team’s offensive line is also yet to show its flair. Alex Golesh and Co. are on life support and it feels like their best chance would be revamping the entire roster for the next season. However, there is one big problem. The Bulls aren’t the only ones gunning for CJ Gamble.

Carrollton prodigy could make it to the Vols
Good old Tennessee! HC Josh Heupel could’ve never thought in his wildest dreams that his team would be able to take over Bama. When the Vols went down on that turf against the Crimson Tide, everyone thought that Kalen DeBoer and Co. had it in the bag.

He-k, the Tide managed to keep the Vols scoreless in the first and the second quarter. But then came the comeback. From the 3rd till the 4th quarter, the Vols offense and defense switched up, and the boys managed to clench a 24-17 win over Bama. You can say the DeBoer’s “renowned” offense failed to get the job done that game.
And boy, oh boy, are the Bulls gonna have a hard time taking Gamble in, cause the Vols have also sent him an offer. While there is zero confirmation on which team Gamble is going to stick with, it feels like Golesh will fall to Heupel. But who do you think Gamble should make a gamble for? Do let us know.
