23-time Grand Slam winner, Serena Williams, might be an inspiration on the court, but on her part, she loves to honor the real-life heroes. Not only does she associate with big brands but also does some noble work by joining them.
To keep up with this image, she will soon up with ‘Bumble’ for a photo shoot and will choose five women who have shown outstanding courage and character this year. The world-famous, Vogue Magazine, will take the initiative for this well-intentioned event.
“I’m so proud to team up with Bumble in recognizing five women who have shown exceptional acts of courage this year. So to nominate yourself or any other woman, head to the Bumble app and match with the woman of the courage profile,” said a cheerful Williams on Twitter.
Bumble is actually a location-based online-dating app. But unlike other apps, only the female users can make the first contact with matched male users.
The organization certainly wants to send a strong message among women with its new initiative. Definitely, Williams is the perfect propagator for that because of her fan following.
Bumble has not only partnered with Williams but also with Vogue who will conduct a photoshop for the selected women. They will then feature in the magazine with their actors of courage.
“The five women will be featured in a virtual photoshoot with a feature in Vogue Magazine in partnership with Bumble. I’m honored to stand beside them and share their stories,” concluded the 39-year-old Williams.
It will be a proud moment for those women to not just feature in the magazine but also to meet Williams. It will be a golden opportunity for them to come face to face with the ‘Queen of Tennis’.
As far as tennis is concerned, Serena last played at the French Open 2020 from which she withdrew after an injury. Fans hope to see her soon at the Australian Open 2021 and lift her 24th Grand Slam title.
