Tom Brady once again showed the world why he is the GOAT. Not through his QB skills, but through his generous nature this time. A presenter in a 2017 radio show made insensitive comments about Brady’s 5-year-old daughter. Responding to it, the NFL legend expressed his feelings about why he thinks he doesn’t want the presenter to get fired.
Alex Reimer frequently appeared as a guest on the Boston sports radio station WEEI’s “Kirk and Callahan” morning show. Moreover, after his comments on Radio, the station suspended him, but he later returned to his job after five months.

Although Tom did not stay quiet about the whole incident, he showed sympathy towards the host. It all started when Reimer made a guest appearance on a different show on the station and reacted to the trailer of ‘Tom vs. Time”. He saw the clip in which Brady’s daughter was shouting, “Daddy! Daddy!” to get his attention while he is busy on a call.

Further, after watching the clip, Reimer called the 5-year-old Vivian “annoying little p*****t.” This insensitive comment prompted Brady to react, but he was subtle in pointing out an important message.
What did Tom Brady say while reacting to the insensitive comments by Reimer?
Later, the QB appeared on the official radio station of the New England Patriots, 98.5 The Sports Hub. He said, “I certainly hope the guy is not fired. I would hate for that to happen. I just think any parent is really protective of their kids. I’ve never stayed away from criticism. I understand criticism is part of sports, but I certainly don’t think my children or any children really deserve to be in that.”

He added, “I think we all have careers and we all make mistakes. I’d hate for someone to have to change their life over something like that. It’s certainly not what he intended. I just felt it was inappropriate. I think any 5-year-old is off limits. Anyone would feel the same way about their kids.”

While Reimer made a brief comeback talking about the Boston Red Sox, he stayed away from the subject of Vivian and Tom Brady. But, of course, that’s what the future Hall of Famer would also expect out of him.
