Australian Open 2020 champion Sofia Kenin accepted Roger Federer’s latest training at home challenge on Wednesday. The American posted a video of volleying against the wall just a little while after Federer’s video.

Earlier, Federer started a new initiative on social media as he came up with a unique training routine during the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Swiss maestro shared a video of a solo drill to try at home, where he rapidly volleyed a tennis ball against the wall.

Moreover, Federer nominated several celebrities including his arch-rivals Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic to take the challenge. He challenged the other celebrities to try it and share their videos doing the drill. He revealed that he would also watch the fans’ videos and give some tips.

The catch here is that Federer wore a white panama hat with a black band and the celebrity taking this challenge have to wear a hat while doing the drill. “Choose your hat wisely,” Federer wrote.

How Sofia Kenin responds to Roger Federer’s challenge?

Kenin perfectly replicated the same drill as Federer. She also donned a similar Panama hat as the 20-time Grand Slam champion. “I’m accepting Roger Federer challenge! How did I do everyone?” Kenin asked.

She also tagged Vasek Pospisil, Bethanie Matteksands,  Felix-Auger Aliassime, and Novak Djokovic and wrote: “you’re next”.
