How Many ATP Points Will Rafael Nadal Lose Due to His Wedding?

Post his phenomenal achievement at US Open 2019, Rafael Nadal plans to skip a few ATP events since he will be occupied with his wedding in the month of October. According to the reports, Rafa will be missing Rolex Shanghai Masters and Paris Masters this year. With his wedding date coinciding with Swiss Indoors in Basel, he won’t show up for that either. Consequently, Nadal would be letting go off 2500 ATP points. He has already qualified for ATP Finals 2019. 

He will be getting married in his hometown, Majorca on the Bay of Pollenca and will be tying a knot with his long-time girlfriend Xisca Perello on October 19, 2019.

Altogether, Rafa missing a few tournaments would be affecting the addition of extra ATP points to his record. Presently, the World Number two, Rafael Nadal is 640 points behind the World Number one, Novak Djokovic

Rafa will show up for the Laver Cup 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland. The event will be getting underway on September 20, 2019. In the three-day event of tennis, Rafael Nadal will be joining the European men’s tennis squad. The Spaniard will be sharing the tennis court with his longtime friend and foe, Roger Federer at Laver Cup 2019.

The two-time champion at China Open, Rafael Nadal is expected to be present at the ATP 500 event in Beijing and the tournament will commence on September 28, 2019.

World Number two, Nadal has qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals in London and Rafa will be fighting against the elite men of ATP Tour to pull off the first ATP Finals title of his thriving career.

The Spaniard will be unleashing his lasso forehands at Davis Cup 2019. The matches will be taking place on the hardcourt of Caja Mágica, Madrid, Spain, and Rafa will be representing his nation over there.
