The excitement continues to build as the launch of the next-gen consoles edges ever closer. Unfortunately for fans of the Resident Evil franchise, Capcom has yet to reveal a release date for the upcoming installment of the franchise, Village. However, PlayStation 5 has several other titles accompanying its release that, more or less, makes up for it.

While they wait, fans can rest easy knowing the new title will play very well on the upcoming generation of consoles, according to PlayStation’s store page.

The new title will make the most of the new hardware, particularly its native solid-state drive for fast load times and the refined haptic feedback mechanism that the new DualSense controller boasts. It will also support 4K with HDR and ray tracing.
