Tennis has had many great ambassadors, but the one that stands out most notably is Roger Federer. The Swiss ace has dominated the game for two decades. During this period, he has entertained fans with some breathtaking tennis and has won over 103 titles, which includes 20 Grand Slam titles.

Recently, Roger Federer was praised by Polish tennis player Hubert Hurkacz. The 24-year-old player wishes to dine with the Swiss maestro in the future. Along with Federer, he also wanted to add his fellow Polish football legend, Robert Lewandowski, to the dinner party.

Hurkacz said, “It would be nice to have dinner with Roger [Federer], Robert Lewandowski, a Polish footballer, and I’m struggling for a third person…!”

The Polish international has played against Federer once at the 2019 Miami Open, and the 39-year-old player ended up on the winning side in straight sets.

Hubert’s other mention, Robert Lewandowski, is a soccer superstar who has guided Bayern Munich to a treble last season. He was also the top goal scorer in all three competitions – the Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and the UEFA Champions League. He even won the FIFA Men’s Best Players Award.

Meanwhile, Roger was out of action for more than a year last year. After his semifinal exit at the Australian Open 2020, he returned to Tour at the ATP Doha Open 2021 last month. After deciding to skip a number of tournaments, he intends to return during the clay season.

The Polish player won his first ATP doubles title last year

Hubert won his first ATP title at the 2019 Winston–Salem Open. He began the following year on a great note, registering wins over Dominic Thiem, Diego Schwartzman, and Borna Coric in the ATP Cup. Later, he partnered with Felix Auger-Aliassime and won his first ATP Masters Doubles title at the Rolex Paris Masters

At the moment, Hubert is currently in Miami and has reached his first Masters 1000 singles final. He will face Italian teenager Jannik Sinner. Earlier, he knocked out Russian rising star Andrey Rublev in the semifinal. It’ll be an interesting match since both players are new to this scenario.
