Vocal NBA parents are not a new phenomenon. Many stars in the past have had their moms or dads cheering for them courtside. For Instance Kevin Durant’s mom or even King James’ mother Gloria. In this era of the new NBA stars, parents have taken a step further, like the famous Big Baller Brand CEO LaVar Ball. Meanwhile, others like Tee Morant have gotten in near fistfights with other team’s supporters like the Shannon Sharpe incident from last season. 

More recently, a Houston Rockets rookie’s mom is the topic of discussion. Particularly, her social media antics are being called out. However, she isn’t stepping down as she had a response lined up to silence haters online. 

The Rookie’s mom has a witty response to haters  

 The rookie in question here is 22-year-old Terry Eason. On her X account, his mom posted, “We not letting Abraham Lincoln vampire hunter cook up a Michelin star in Houston!” This was in reference to Chet Holmgren, who fans say looks similar to US President Abraham Lincoln.

A fan reposted it saying, “Tari Eason’s mom.. weird behavior.” However, this would be a mistake as the ‘Momster’ already had a response loaded. She fired back saying, “Weird why?? Just say you haven’t seen the movie. It’s OK to not understand a joke, and keep scrolling.”

She went a step further and added, “I clown my own Son for missing layups. This isn’t even a clown. This is just spot on. Next time, thank me for being clever and carry-on.”

This NBA-mom doesn’t seem to back up, especially after the Rockets defeated the defending champions.

The Rockets dismantle Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets

The young Houston Rockets team crushed the Denver Nuggets’ aspirations for victory in the inaugural in-season tournament. Nikola Jokic and his teammates aimed to secure a place in the knockout stages of this unique tournament. However, the commanding display from Rockets Center, Alperen Sengun, posed a formidable challenge that the Nuggets couldn’t surmount.
