Felix has already garnered attention from his peers as well as the tennis fans with his meteoric rise through the ranks. Sitting at World No. 20, Felix is practically a shoo-in for the Next Gen ATP Finals. That is if they do go ahead this year given the current uncertainty.

In fact, it wouldn’t be all too surprising if the Canadian is challenging for the ATP World Tour Finals in the next couple of seasons. Of course, the jump from Top-20 to Top-10 is a big one. There is a significant step up in terms of quality in the Top-10, and it takes consistency to stay up there.

“No, it’s nothing new. I’m taking it all in my stride. But that’s how it has to be now. Even if everything happened quickly, I did it the right way, without forcing anything, while trying to remain calm. What made me jump up the rankings quickly was that I took each step as it came.”
