LeBron James is a global superstar, with hundreds of millions following him on all social media platforms. He had a disappointing season with the Los Angles Lakers, but this hasn’t dampened any enthusiasm for the sport from his side. He has also his son Bronny to look forward to. His son has done well enough for himself at the high school level. Now, he is approaching to be a college-level player. Bronny will, no doubt, get a good school to play for due to his name, but that’s not the reason he is trending on social media these recent days.

Bronny James became a “man” by going to prom. He accompanied a girl, as is tradition. There were a certain section of people on Twitter who didn’t like the fact that he went to prom with a white girl. Of course, many were just in awe that he has almost turned 18 because LeBron himself doesn’t look that old. There were many sports commentators giving their unneeded viewpoint on this.

One of them has to be Jason Whitlock, whose career is now limited to being the “black friend” of the right wing/alt-right. On his show, ” Fearless”, he talked about this. He, as usual, criticized LeBron by mentioning that he shouldn’t have put his kids in front of the spotlight and promoted them. He said, after that, ” He’s been exposed to the racism of Black Twitter“. Then, he continued by saying, “ I blame LeBron James for putting his kids out there as public figures“. Bronny and LeBron, though, will not care about opinions from irrelevant sports writers. LeBron is enjoying his life, being proud of his kids. Bronny, too, is at the cusp of a proper career in basketball.

Unlike LeBron, though, he may not be picked up from high school directly. Bronny has to go through the rigors of college basketball for at least a year and a half to qualify for the NBA draft. He has appeared on the radars of many schools like Duke, UCLA during his high school career. Bronny has great handles and can be a good shooting guard if he is willing to work hard.
