Top tennis players have been doing their own talk show with their fellow professionals on social media during the ongoing lockdown. Kyrgios also held an Instagram live chat with fellow Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis on Sunday. Like many others, Nick also followed the trend and build his own perfect player.

Recently, Djokovic praised Kyrgios while making his dream player. Novak revealed that Kyrgios has the best service he has ever played against. Now, the Australian star didn’t hold himself back as he left a major compliment for the Australian Open 2020 champion.

“I’ll pick Djokovic’s backhand” – Nick Kyrgios
While making an ideal player, Kyrgios praised Novak for his near-perfect backhand. He also opted Roger Federer for his ‘slice backhand’ and Rafael Nadal for his ‘strong mentality’. His perfect player would also have the volleying ability of Jack Sock. He already possesses a big serve but he chooses Ivo Karlovic or John Isner for having an ideal serve.

“It’s going to hurt me to say it but I’ll take the Djoker’s backhand,” Kyrgios told Kokkinakis during their live Instagram session. “The guy doesn’t miss. The guy’s been drilling it since he came out of the womb.”
He also praised Djokovic’s movement on the court, comparing it with his compatriot Alex De Minaur and describing it as “a joke”.

However, Kyrgios admitted that he does not like something which Djokovic does but he does not have any hard feelings for him.

“I don’t actually hate anyone and I can admit that people are different. I don’t like some of the things Djokovic does but I don’t hate him,” Kyrgios said on Instagram Live.
The pair have had a long-standing off-court battle in the past. Earlier, Kyrgios publically labeled Djokovic “cringeworthy”. He has also passed various comments at the Serbian in the past.
