We know PewDiePie is a gamer at heart because before all the ‘meme reviews’ and the ‘Pew News’, he used to stream games. And he has been spending a lot of time lately trying out new games during this lockdown. Recently, he streamed himself completing ‘The Ghost of Tsushima’ in parts. He’s also been playing Fall Guys. He went head-to-head with Dr Disrespect in the new game, and it was a thoroughly entertaining stream.

But it seems he has now taken up Valorant, and though he may be late to the party, he seems like a decent player. And Shroud could be his next collaboration.

During his first Valorant stream, a fan mentioned that Shroud wanted to play with Pewds. He responded by saying, “Shroud wants to play with me? I don’t play with simps. Sorry, Shroud.”

He meant it as a joke and even admitted that he would love to play with Shroud. Pewds reverted to his jokes as he suggested Shroud would learn ‘a thing or two’ by watching his clips. He asked his viewers to clip him playing and show the clips to Shroud.

And then he showcased his ‘skills’ in Valorant. Now we know that Pewds is not mechanically gifted but for a first-timer, he played well in Valorant.

He played the ‘Spike Rush’ mode and maintained a balance of wins and losses. Hilariously, though, he failed to clutch a couple of matches. Even after all the opponents were killed, he failed to defuse the spike, giving us some to chuckle about.

Although, Pewds is good with the Operator, which is a difficult weapon to master. He also switched between Agents Sova and Brimstone in the stream.

Shroud, on the other hand, has been playing a lot of Valorant. His apparent love for the game even spawned rumors of him going pro. But there is no development on that yet and we likely won’t see his return to the competitive scene.

Nevertheless, he is still the king of FPS games and can master any game quickly. Shroud’s potential collaboration with Pewds will be fun to watch. On one side we’ll have a player who is absolutely brilliant with his aim, and on the other, we’ll have Pewds with his banter. Seems like a dream collaboration for the fans.
