She wants the name of this particular style changed and has a completely justified reason too.

The hairstyle in question here is “s*** strands”. This?hairstyle?is?popular?among?female skiers and snowboarders. The popular style consists of letting two strands of hair loose on either side of their helmet, which gives shape and structure to their face. Both?of?these?strands are?commonly?referred to?as “s*** strands”.

There is no doubt that this name is actually problematic, and Chloe Kim is of the same opinion.

“We need to change the name to beauty strands,” she said in an interview.

Notably, “s*** strands” are an entire community of their own. The name?might be changed to “beauty strands, ” but?only time will tell.
