Since he began his career, Federer never really stayed home for more than a few weeks. He kept traveling around the world winning titles. But as the pandemic swept across the world tennis took a break and players were forced to stay indoors.

“I haven’t had this long at home in 25 years” – Roger Federer
In a recent interview with Miami Living Magazine, Federer spoke about living at home. He says he hasn’t lived this long at his home in 25 years. Federer currently resides in Zurich, where he has built an 8 million-dollar glasshouse with a view of Lake Zurich.
“I haven’t had this long at home in 25 years. We’re safe because we’re up in the mountains and don’t see anybody,” Federer said

Federer is also strict with the rules. He hasn’t seen his parents in three months. Federer and his wife are taking care of their four children by themselves.

Federer is turning 39 in a few days and surely there will be a slight thought of retirement. In many interviews during this lockdown, he has iterated that his priorities could change and he would give more focus to his children and family.
Right now he will continue to be sidelined from tennis as Federer is rehabbing from knee surgery. All his fans will hope he returns well in 2021.
