Japanese star, Naomi Osaka, took the tennis world by storm back in 2018 when she won the US Open. She went on to achieve more after that win, leading to praise from many people. And the latest person to praise her is 18-time Grand Slam champion, Chris Evert. Check it out.
I love @naomiosaka because she’s always authentic and introspective in becoming better, as a person and as a tennis player. As I follow her journey, she already has become more evolved…💪👍👏💃You go girl! https://t.co/qdWZTIiW1Z

Chris Evert Praises Naomi Osaka
As you can see in the above Twitter post, Chris Evert said a lot of good things about Naomi Osaka. She praised Osaka for being authentic and introspective in becoming better, not just as a tennis player, but also as a person which is why she loves her.
The Japanese star will be delighted to hear such good things from one of the greatest women’s tennis players. It should motivate her to play her best again after a very sudden drop in form she experienced after her title victory at the 2019 Australian Open.
After her win there, Naomi split with her coach, Sascha Bajin. This came as a shock to many people has Sascha had worked wonders for her. And looking at what happened afterward, Naomi probably regretted doing it.

After the split, the Japanese star hired coach Jermaine Jenkins, but extremely poor results followed. She suffered early exits in 2019 and even failed to defend her US Open title. Due to such poor results, Naomi split with Jermaine towards the end of the season.

To help her get back into match-winning form, Osaka hired her current coach, Wim Fisette, seeing as he had success with many other players. Unfortunately for her, she did not get to return into that kind of form due to the coronavirus pandemic suspending the WTA Tour.
The Tour is scheduled to return in August assuming the virus is contained by then. The Japanese star will be hoping for it so that she may finally return to her match-winning form and, hopefully, win some Grand Slams again.
