While in a live stream, Dallas Empire player Shotzzy raised some questions that stirred up people in the community to think if he wants to leave Call Of Duty pro scene to join Halo Esports after the Xbox release of Halo Infinite happens. With fans of the Dallas Empire roster across the globe, it might be a win and lose situation if the event was to occur. While some will see it as a homecoming for the former Halo World Champion nevertheless few will argue his live stream statements are too vague for any thoughts.

Shotzzy rethinking esports scene in Call Of Duty?

While Halo fans across the globe had mixed reviews about Halo Infinite, Shotzzy had a few thoughts of his own. In a tweet posted by CDL intel, they provided an edited video from his stream where he speaks about his future in esports following the release of Halo Infinite. Honestly, he seems very diplomatic to say the least.

In his own words, he says, “I played Halo from when I was 4 years old, till last year which is what around at least 15 years? 14 years of straight Halo? That s**t is literally my childhood. I am not saying that I will get back but if its really f***ing good and I see potential in it, then there’s a possibility but I genuinely don’t think I will. I don’t know, we will just have to wait and see.”

Well does he say a yes first and then a no? Guess what? I don’t know either. But what I do know is Shotzzy has been talking about this outside his stream too. In a tweet posted by esportscaster and Call Of Duty League commentator, Landon Sanders is seen interviewing Shotzzy. When asked about his probable return, he says,

“I possibly hope so. Due to League restrictions, I don’t know how that’s gonna work out but I am gonna dabble my way and play some Infinite tournaments if I can… we will see.”

If that doesn’t seem to warrant a return for the Halo champ I don’t know what does. But how that will work out with the rest of the Dallas roster or even the fans is something to definitely look out for.
