Roger Federer: Had a Lot More Time as I Couldn’t Train
“When I look back, I mainly see the organizational side. Otherwise, I knew what was going on in the family, but this time I was the active one,” Roger responded. “There was a lot more time because I wasn’t allowed to train that much. That’s why everything came together for me. I really like to do that.”
The 8-time Wimbledon champion also mentioned becoming his children’s chauffer, being a good host to guests coming over. He also noted that he likes to have a great atmosphere along with some good wine.
Roger elaborated more about his newfound activities during the lockdown.
“I almost became the little ones’ chauffeur. And I took pleasure in being a good host when the rules allowed visitors. In the past, everyone was happy when our friends just stopped by.”
